Eastern Contractors Association continues to monitor developments regarding COVID-19 and its potential impacts. The safety and well being of our employees and members is at the forefront of our policies and guidelines. March 12 Update: We have cancelled our Supervisory Training Program for the spring. This class series will be rescheduled for the fall. At this time, there are no other changes to our scheduled events. However, this is a very fluid situation and that is likely to change. We continue to rely on local, state and federal health officials to provide additional information and guide us through this process. If there are any additional changes to individual event schedules, an update will be posted on our website and social media, and all registered attendees will be contacted. At all of our events, meetings and general operations, we will use best practices, and we encourage our attendees to do the same: • Don't shake hands. Use alternative greeting methods, such as an elbow bump, or simply exchange verbal greetings. • We will provide as much space between participants as possible and when possible. • Attendees will have an abundance of opportunities to practice good hygiene, e.g. hand washing, use of anti-bacterial or anti-viral products. These products will be easily accessible in restrooms and public areas. ECA also has a business continuity plan in place that will be implemented if necessary. Staff is currently checking equipment, running through processes and preparing in the event that our plan needs to be put into action. This is all done so that we can maintain the levels of service our membership expects. We will continue to monitor the situation as it evolves and will remain in contact with you regarding any changes.
