This Basic Blueprint Reading course will give attendees the skills necessary to gain an initial understanding of construction documents and familiarize them with what to expect when reviewing drawings. This includes a general familiarization with not only the architectural scope but site/civil & all mechanical trades as well. The class will also discuss the importance of project specifications and other related items that are part of a complete set of contract documents. Please note: this is an introductory overview designed to increase the participants' confidence in comprehending the subject matter. This is an online class that will be presented via Zoom. Attendees must attend individually - no screen sharing. All attendees must have the Zoom app downloaded and must sign in with an individual email address. This class will meet over eight Tuesdays from 5-7 p.m. (March 25; April 1, 8, 15, 29; May 6, 13, and 20). Cost: $140* per person for ECA, NESCA, and AGCNYS members; $200* per person for non-members.
