We regret to announce the passing of Robert “Bob” Smialek, a long-time employee and executive at ECA member firm James H. Maloy, Inc. Hired by John Maloy in 1960, Bob was with the firm for nearly 55 years, contributing to many highway, bridge, and other projects throughout the region, including work at Global Foundries near the end of his career. For those wishing to remember Bob in a special way, memorial contributions may be made to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation (2361 Hylan Blvd., Staten Island, NY 10306) or to the Wounded Warrior Project (P.O.
