Over the years, ECA has developed one of the most successful Supervisory Training Programs (STP) in the country...over 200 Superintendent Courses since the inception of the program some 30-plus years ago, training over 3,500 local supervisors, tradespeople, and office personnel.
This class meets over seven consecutive Thursdays: March 13, 20, and 27, April 3, 10, 17, and 24, 2025.
Attendance of at least 5 of the classes is required to pass the unit.
Unit #5, "Improving Productivity and Managing Project Costs" will cover understanding how project estimates are compiled, how to compare actual project costs with those estimated and how to control costs to meet the estimate. This course also details how productivity is measured, how the supervisor plays a major role in increasing jobsite productivity, and how a small increase in productivity can have a significant impact on the time and cost of a project.

"Improving Productivity and Managing Project Costs" is for Superintendents and foremen, people who aspire to become superintendents and foremen; people who work with superintendents and foremen; supervisors who work for subs; field secretaries; owners, architects, and engineers; anyone who communicates with the job site.
The Supervisory Training Program has been developed by the Associated General Contractors of America. More than 200,000 individuals have participated in STP courses nationally. It was developed by contractors for contractors. Give it a look if you haven’t already done so!
