Company History: Danforth was founded in 1884 in Buffalo, New York. Our founder John Willison Danforth started the company with the goal of having the highest quality residential and commercial heating systems. Danforth has played an integral part in modern history. During World War I, Danforth was the general contractor to the US Navy Bureau of Yards and Docks. In the 1920's , our company expanded our capabilities to better serve the booming chemical and steel industries in Buffalo. In the 1960's Danforth began providing cutting-edge cleanroom construction services. Throughout our history we have adapted and grown to better serve our community and customer's needs. Our commitment to excellence has propelled our firm to be ranked the 4th largest mechanical contractor in the northeast. We have facilities in Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse, Albany, and Columbus, OH, to better serve our regional customer base.
