Company Year Established: 1974

Company History: Incorporated in 1974 in Vermont, 5th generation riggers. Moved to Capital District in 1987 and acquired our 8-acre facility in Green Island in 1995. Thomas Scheib and Bridget Hubal purchased the company from their father Bill in 2012 and subsequently became a NYS certified Women Owned Business. In 2023, Burt Crane and Rigging completed the first phase of construction on its second location at 1381 River Road, Selkirk, NY 12158. The new 30,000 sqft. warehouse is strategically located between the ports of Coeymans and Albany. Two remaining parcels are in the development phase for up to an additional 75,000 sqft. of building space.

Company Description: Complete turnkey rigging services for industrial and commercial clients. Crane rentals with operators, bridge erecting, rigging and lifting engineering, warehousing, logistics and hauling.
