Eastern Contractors Association continues to support the Capt. John J. McKenna IV Military Courtesy Room at Albany International Airport. Earlier this week, ECA President and CEO Todd Helfrich presented a $1000 check to assist with the ongoing operations of the Courtesy Room. The McKenna Courtesy Room provides media entertainment, snacks and support in a comfortable, friendly environment to every member of our military who travel through Albany International Airport. The facility was created through a cooperation of the Albany County Airport Authority and the Tri-County Council of Vietnam Era Veterans. Named in honor of Capt. McKenna who died while aiding one of his Marines in Iraq, the courtesy room has seen over 34,000 service men and women through its doors since opening nearly eight years ago. This is ECA's seventh year in supporting the Courtesy Room. (Click the above image to see video from WNYT Channel 13 News) For more information, visit www.jmckennamilitarycourtesyroom.org.
