This split case pump would trip the motor overloads after it was repaired by others. When CPE took in the pump for inspection , we found the impellers not only had the wrong trim for the HP/Speed, they needed to be balanced. Hot water application: Model 3316M Trimmed and Balanced the Impellers. Replaced packing with Chesterton 180H mechanical seals for hot water applications. Replaced leaking oil lip seals with Inpro Bearing Isolators. Added Chesterton Connects on both DE and NDE bearings to monitor seal temp/pressure and bearing vibration and surface temp. Newly repaired split case pump and new check valve, installed and laser alligned by CPE Technicians. Repaired pump included A.W. Chesterton packing, ARC S1PW internal coating, and AWC 785FG for all the bolting for better than new performance. Feel free to call any of our locations for pump and rotating equipment repairs.
